TRIBUNKALTIM.CO, BALIKPAPAN – The Balikpapan Industrial Expo (BEX) is currently taking place at the Balikpapan Sports & Convention Center (BSCC) Dome, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan, on Thursday (2/11/2023).
In this event, BEX 2023 is participated by 98 exhibitors from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and China.
It serves as a platform for players in the mining, oil and gas, and shipbuilding industries to share ideas, innovations, and business opportunities.
One of the participants is PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, which also participated in the Mining Expo in Jakarta last September.
Aside from supplying mining accessories, the company specialized in the mining, oil and gas, and construction industries is also introducing dozens of its units to visitors.
With two booths numbered 20 and 21, Transkon Jaya proudly displays a Deluxe 4×4 Ambulance unit.
There are also rescue cars, service body cars, manhauls, and special vehicles for other mines.
Among the various units owned by Transkon Jaya, Suyatno Kayat, the Marketing Head Office Transkon in Balikpapan, stated that the full mining spec double cabin 4×4 becomes the main attraction for visitors from Central Kalimantan and Sangata in East Kalimantan.
According to him, the high interest in the double cabin is due to its essential role as prime equipment in mining.
“So, in the mine, this double cabin is like their legs. For example, if this double cabin is damaged, they cannot go to the mine,” said Suyatno, to TribunKaltim.co, Thursday (2/11/2023).
By participating in exhibition events like BEX, Transkon Jaya aims to conduct technical promotions at least twice a year.
“Because it is very strategic for players in the mining, oil and gas, and shipbuilding industries to share ideas, innovations, and other business opportunities,” explained Suyatno.
To follow up on the interest of visitors, the company first notes the quantity needed by consumers in the field, up to the location of the company’s site.
“Because if the deal cannot be done directly here. For mining, the deal is not like selling candy because we need a lot of data in the field,” said Suyatno.
Thus, the company must conduct surveys in the field by teams spread across various regions:

– Central Kalimantan;
– West Kalimantan;
– North Kalimantan;
– North Sulawesi;
– Central Sulawesi;
– South Sulawesi;
