TRJA Secures New Contract for Light Bus Amid Ongoing Expansion

Bagikan, BALIKPAPAN – PT Transkon Jaya Tbk’s (TRJA) commitment to vehicle leasing expansion appears to be gaining momentum into the second half of 2021.

Recently, TRJA secured a new contract for the rental of light buses for operations in the Eastern Indonesia region—a primary target area for the company’s expansion. These light buses will serve as the main transportation unit for customers at the site, facilitating the transport of their employees from accommodations to mining sites.

“Through this new contract, TRJA has proven its ability to be a trusted company, meeting diverse customer needs, especially in the context of transportation for operational activities,” stated Alexander Syauta, Corporate Secretary of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, in an official announcement on Tuesday (03/08/2021).

In response to similar needs, TRJA has also received requests from customers in South Kalimantan, who will also be utilizing these light buses.

Moreover, at the beginning of the second semester, the company has secured a new contract worth over 25 billion for more than 30 vehicles.

Although these vehicles were introduced to the rental market in 2021, TRJA remains optimistic about expanding in this unit category, opening significant opportunities for TRJA to attract attention in the market given its ability to meet increasingly varied customer needs.

“There is a possibility for the company to continue exploring opportunities for business diversification. Additionally, in meeting customer needs to provide comfort for their employees, TRJA ensures that the quality of service exceeds customer expectations,” he added.

As the light bus can transport a considerable number of employees, Alex, as he is known, emphasized that besides ensuring comfort, the accessories installed in these vehicles adhere to Health, Safety, and Work (K3) standards, guaranteeing employee safety.

“Not only aggressive in continuing expansion activities during the pandemic, customer satisfaction is also an extraordinary achievement for the company,” said Alex.

“This undoubtedly justifies the products offered by PT Transkon Jaya to prospective customers and can serve as a pilot project for other companies, especially those in regional areas, to ensure competitiveness, particularly in enduring challenging times,” he concluded.
