KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for quality management. This certification signifies that the company, specializing in the rental of 4×4 and 4×2 vehicles for the mining, oil and gas, and construction industries, has a quality management system in line with international standards.
ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized quality management standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Alexander Syauta, Corporate Secretary of TRJA, mentioned that ISO 9001:2015 helps Transkon Jaya demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet global requirements.
“Obtaining ISO 9001:2015 strengthens Transkon Jaya’s focus on delivering service with the highest quality. It also provides assurance to customers and potential customers that our products and services meet high-quality standards,” stated Alexander in a press release received by Kontan.co.id on January 17.
Emphasizing the importance of vehicle quality in the mining sector’s safety and mobility, Alexander pointed out that Transkon Jaya is aware of the crucial role the quality of rented vehicles plays in the safety and security of employees in mining areas. This, in turn, significantly impacts customer satisfaction.
Alexander mentioned that the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard is designed to ensure that companies meet the needs of customers and stakeholders related to the products and services offered. “This ISO certificate is expected to provide customers with confidence that the company continues to prioritize the quality of the vehicles it rents,” added Alexander.
In addition to the certification, TRJA is expanding its business reach this year. As per the January 3, 2022 release, the Balikpapan-based company will continue its business expansion into the Eastern regions of Indonesia. The number of TRJA vehicles operating in Eastern Indonesia, especially in Sulawesi, has significantly increased. To optimize business development, Transkon Jaya will establish representative offices in several potential areas, including Makassar.
“The establishment of representative offices aims to allow the company to conduct further market research on business potential in the Eastern Indonesia region, build relationships with business partners and potential partners, and oversee and coordinate the company’s activities in the Eastern Indonesia region,” explained Alexander.
