Bisnis.com, BALIKPAPAN – PT Transkon Jaya Tbk. (TRJA) has secured a new contract worth more than IDR 25 billion for over 30 vehicles in the early second semester of 2021.
TRJA Corporate Secretary Alexander Syauta stated that, in their business expansion efforts, the company has obtained a new contract for the rental of light buses for operations in the Eastern Indonesia region—a primary target area for the company’s expansion.
“These light buses will serve as the main transportation unit for customers at the site, transporting employees from accommodations to mining sites,” he said in an official statement on Tuesday (3/8/2021).
He added that TRJA has also received requests for light buses from customers located in South Kalimantan. He assessed that TRJA is capable of meeting consumer needs, especially in the context of transportation for operational activities.
“Although these vehicles were introduced to the rental market in 2021, TRJA is optimistic about opening significant opportunities to attract market attention, given its ability to meet increasingly varied customer needs,” he said.
He revealed that this does not rule out the possibility for the company to continue exploring opportunities for business diversification. In addition, Alex stated that TRJA ensures the quality of service meets customer needs to provide comfort for users.
“As the light bus can transport a considerable number of employees, besides ensuring comfort, the accessories installed in these vehicles adhere to Health, Safety, and Work (K3) standards, guaranteeing employee safety,” he concluded.
TRJA is not only aggressive in continuing expansion activities during the pandemic but also pays attention to customer satisfaction as part of the company’s achievements.
“This undoubtedly justifies the products offered by PT Transkon Jaya Tbk to prospective customers and can serve as a pilot project for other companies, especially those in regional areas, to ensure competitiveness, particularly in enduring challenging times,” he concluded.
