JAKARTA. PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) has released its financial report for the first half of 2023. The company has shown improved performance compared to the same period last year.
According to the financial report released on Saturday (29/7), Transkon Jaya’s revenue increased by 26.28% YoY to IDR 288.46 billion in H1-2023. In H1-2022, the figure was recorded at IDR 228.43 billion.
The revenue for TRJA in the first semester is still dominated by vehicle rental income, amounting to IDR 284.06 billion. This is followed by revenue from internet service providers at IDR 2.61 billion, electronic goods providers at IDR 1.16 billion, and labor supply at IDR 306.36 million.
The increase in revenue also pushed up the cost of revenue by 19.77% to IDR 164.82 billion. As a result, gross profit increased by 36.13%, from IDR 90.81 billion to IDR 123.63 billion.
On the other hand, TRJA had to bear the increase in operating expenses by 37.60% in the first semester. The figure increased from IDR 56.99 billion to IDR 78.42 billion.
As of the end of June 2023, the year-to-date profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity or net profit of TRJA slightly increased to IDR 20.71 billion. By the end of June 2022, the figure was recorded at IDR 20.51 billion.
