JAKARTA, – PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), a listed company engaged in mining transportation, expanded its business network by opening a branch in Makassar. The opening of this branch is to continue expansion into Eastern Indonesia.

Transkon Jaya Corporate Secretary Alexander Syauta explained that the opening of this branch was due to the high number of customer requests from Eastern Indonesia.

“This is indicated by the significant increase in the number of company-owned vehicles operating in Eastern Indonesia, especially on the island of Sulawesi,” he explained in an official statement, Tuesday (4/1).

Therefore, TRJA will establish representative offices at several potential regional points. One of them is in the city of Makassar, which is the largest metropolitan city in Eastern Indonesia, as well as one of the gateways to Eastern Indonesia.

The existence of representative offices is considered to provide many benefits along with the great potential of different regions for vehicle rental demand and also in line with the company’s desire to continue to grow.

“The purpose of establishing a representative office of Transkon Jaya in Makassar City is so that the company can conduct further market research on business potential in the Eastern Indonesia region, conduct relationships with business partners and prospective business partners, and supervise and coordinate company activities in the Eastern Indonesia region,” he explained.

Then, with the establishment of a representative office, TRJA hopes that this can help related parties at the head office to be able to understand directly matters related to the company’s business in Eastern Indonesia, especially on the island of Sulawesi. Transkon Jaya hopes that every step and policy formula related to the company’s business plan can be formulated with the right target, in line with the presence of a representative office that can bring together theory and real problems that occur in the field.
