Jakarta – Transportation rental company, PT Transkon Jaya Tbk. (TRJA), will distribute dividends for the 2022 fiscal year amounting to IDR 4.53 billion to shareholders today, Wednesday (26/7/2023).
Cum dividend TRJA in the regular market and negotiation market took place on July 3, 2023. Meanwhile, ex-dividend in the regular market and negotiation market on July 4, 2023.
Next, cum dividend in the cash market falls on July 5, 2023, while ex-dividend in the cash market on July 6, 2023. Shareholders entitled to receive dividends (recording date) on July 5, 2023.
The distribution of dividends is based on the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) of TRJA held in Jakarta on June 22, 2023.
If we calculate the number of outstanding shares of 1.51 billion shares, the dividend per share that shareholders will receive is IDR 3 per share.
TRJA Corporate Secretary Alexander Syauta said the amount of dividends distributed by the company is the same as last year, totaling IDR 4.5 billion. The dividend payout ratio (DPR) figure is also the same as the previous year.
“For the dividend payout ratio [DPR], it is more or less the same as the 2021 fiscal year, related to the net income in 2022 is around IDR 36 billion, so the calculated DPR is around 12 percent of profit,” said Alexander in a public presentation on Thursday, (22/6/2023).
Referring to TRJA’s 2022 financial report, net profit attributed to the parent entity amounted to IDR 36.44 billion. This profit decreased by 20.75% year-on-year (YoY) compared to 2021, which amounted to IDR 45.99 billion.
On the other hand, the company’s revenue actually increased by 19.97% YoY to IDR 483 billion in 2022, compared to 2021 which amounted to IDR 402.58 billion.
As information, TRJA is a company based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, with a focus on commercial vehicle rental business for the mining, oil and gas, and construction industries.
Based on RTI data as of June 30, 2023, TRJA’s controlling shareholder is PT Damai Investama Sukses with a 26.05% ownership stake. Followed by PT MSJ Investama Abadi holding 30.07% of shares, PT Aneka 10.32%, and the public holds 33.56%.
