IDXChannel – PT Aneka, one of the shareholders of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), has conducted three consecutive days of share sales in the company. PT Aneka, owning more than five percent of TRJA shares, has sold a total of 5,809,800 shares of the vehicle rental company at prices ranging from Rp270 to Rp272 per share.
The breakdown of the transactions involves PT Aneka selling 1,000,000 TRJA shares on December 6, 2023, at a price of Rp270 per share. The following day, on December 7, the company sold 3,809,800 TRJA shares at a price of Rp272 per share. Lastly, on December 8, PT Aneka conducted another share sale of 1,000,000 shares at a price of Rp272 per share. As a result, PT Aneka gained Rp1.58 billion from the total share sales.
“The purpose of this transaction is for divestment,” stated Annastintatia Polii, Head of Corporate Affairs at TRJA, in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Wednesday (13/12).
Following these transactions, the total ownership of TRJA shares by PT Aneka decreased by 0.39 percent to 6.75 percent, with 101,923,500 remaining shares, compared to the previous ownership of 7.14 percent or 107,733,300 shares.
This divestment comes after TRJA was officially acquired by PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH), a company owned by business tycoon Low Tuck Kwong, at the end of November. The acquisition was valued at Rp307 billion, resulting in the transfer of 1,117,548,000 shares (74 percent) of TRJA, previously owned by PT Damai Investama Sukses and PT MSJ Investama Abadi, to MYOH.
