TRIBUNKALTIM.CO, BALIKPAPAN – PT Transkon Jaya Tbk opens opportunities for people with disabilities to work at the company.
This was conveyed directly by Marketing Communications of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, Jordy when attending the Balikpapan Fit Day (BFD) sports event at BSB Beach, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan on Sunday (3/12/2023).
For information, the BFD event was held in commemoration of International Disability Day.
About 30 people with disabilities participated in the event and mingled with the general public.
“We want to open space for our friends with disabilities,” he told TribunKaltim.co.
They need a place to work so that they can contribute to society even though they have certain shortcomings.
“But they have a spirit that is not inferior to other friends,” he said.
For this reason, he added, the company engaged in the automotive sector is making special preparations.
Moreover, this job opportunity has been included in the 2024 planning.
“So, we introduce it first through our subsidiaries. That’s why we support the Balikpapan fit day event which highlights colleagues with disabilities,” he explained.
Jordy also revealed that this company will adjust to qualifications according to its field which is engaged in the automotive industry, especially mining.
Not only that, they also provide training for vocational school graduates, to fresh graduates who have interests and talents in accordance with the company.
“We are looking for colleagues who have interest and talent in the automotive industry, especially 4×4,” he said.
“We also have a training program to prepare to become employees or mechanics that we will place at mining sites in Indonesia,” he concluded.
