SINAR HARAPAN- In the early trading session on Monday (20/11), the stock price of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) showed a 1.43% gain, contributing to its weekly positive performance of 7.58% and a year-to-date (YTD) surge of 25.46% since the beginning of 2023.
Examining the daily chart, it is evident that TRJA shares have been following a bullish trend since November 10, 2023. This trend is confirmed by the crossing of the 5-day Moving Average (MA5) and the 21-day Moving Average (MA21) at a price of Rp262. As a result, TRJA shares have accumulated an 8.3% gain since the confirmation of this trend.
Amid the positive performance of TRJA shares, the company’s controller, PT Damai Investama Sukses, has taken action to increase its ownership stake. On November 15, 2023, Director Lin Sugiarti of PT Damai Investama Sukses engaged in share acquisition, purchasing 6,720,000 TRJA shares at an execution price of Rp275 per share.
This acquisition was conducted in two stages, involving the purchase of 18,700,000 shares and an additional 48,500,000 shares. The total funds expended by Damai Investama to accumulate its ownership amounted to Rp18.4 billion.
Following the completion of this transaction, Damai Investama now holds 674,289,000 TRJA shares, equivalent to 44.65% of the total shares. This represents an increase from the previous position of 607,089,000 shares or 40.20%.
The stated purpose of this transaction is investment with direct ownership of shares, as disclosed by Secretary of the Company Transkon Jaya, Alexander J. Syauta, in the information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Monday (20/11).
