IDXChannel – PT Damai Investama Sukses, the controlling shareholder of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), increased its stake in the transportation rental company.
Damai Investama made gradual purchases of TRJA shares on November 7 and 10, 2023. The total shares bought amounted to 36.3 million shares at an average price of Rp275 per share.
Specifically, on November 7, 2023, Damai Investama bought 14.5 million shares. On November 10, they acquired an additional 21.8 million shares.
With the total shares and the share price, Damai Investama spent Rp9.98 billion on these transactions.
“The purpose of the transaction is investment, with the status of direct share ownership,” said TRJA Corporate Secretary R. Alexander J Syauta, quoted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) disclosure on Monday (13/11/2023).
Following the transaction, Damai Investama’s ownership in TRJA increased to 607,089,000 shares or 40.2%. Previously, the company held 570,789,000 shares or 37.8%.
Other TRJA shareholders include PT MSJ Investama Abadi with 30.07%, PT Aneka with 10.3%, and non-registry public ownership at 21.84%.
During the transaction, TRJA’s stock price was at its lowest level at Rp262 per share, while the highest level reached Rp264 per share.
