PT Transkon Jaya Tbk. has successfully secured a collaboration tender with a new customer for an infrastructure project, marking the company’s venture into the Infrastructure, Transportation, and Utilities sector. Corporate Secretary Alexander Syauta mentioned that this move comes in line with the positive effects of economic recovery and regional development.
“This new business line is something new in the business portfolio explored by PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, which has primarily been active in the mining industry,” stated Alexander in an official statement on Monday (March 29, 2021).
On another front, Transkon Jaya has initiated its business activities by introducing its latest services that involve the use of Light Trucks and Light Buses in this project.
Alex explained that this breakthrough in renting these types of vehicles had been designed since late 2020 and was realized faster than estimated. For this project, more than 30 vehicles from PT Transkon Jaya Tbk have been facilitated, with an investment value exceeding IDR 10 billion.
“The addition of a portfolio in the Infrastructure business line indicates innovation and growth at PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, which excels in each period,” he clarified.
He further revealed that the current business expansion is located on the island of Kalimantan, where Transkon Jaya originated and grew. Looking ahead, there will be numerous business opportunities for investment in the prospective capital city location, offering wide possibilities for the company to actively contribute to regional economic development, even on a national scale.
Alex stated that the management of Transkon Jaya will continue to evolve to keep pace with economic growth and regional development while maintaining its excellent performance in the vehicle rental sector for various businesses and industries.
