EmitenNews.com – PT MSJ Investama Abadi, the controlling shareholder of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), has sold its shares on November 30, 2023. The company sold 454,080,000 shares of TRJA at a price of Rp275 per share. The purpose of the transaction was divestment with direct ownership, as stated by Alexander J. Syauta, Corporate Secretary of TRJA.
Following the sale, the ownership of PT MSJ Investama Abadi in TRJA became 0 shares compared to the previous holding of 454,080,000 shares, equivalent to 30.07%.
It is noted that mining service company Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH), owned by Low Tuck Kwong, announced its intention to acquire the controlling shares of Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) from PT Damai Investama Sukses and PT MSJ Investama Abadi, totaling 1,238,364,000 shares in TRJA. The conditional sale purchase agreement (CSPA) was signed on November 14, 2023.
