KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The controller of PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), PT Damai Investama Sukses, has been observed actively acquiring TRJA shares ahead of the planned acquisition by PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH).
In the disclosure of information to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Wednesday (29/11), Damai Investama Sukses made purchases 6 times throughout this month, with a total of 213.48 million shares purchased, equivalent to 14.13%.
In detail, the purchases were made on November 7, 2023, with the number of shares bought being 14.5 million at a price of Rp 275 per share. In this purchase, PT Damai Investama Sukses spent Rp 3.98 billion.
Then, on November 10, 2023, PT Damai Investama Sukses bought 21.8 million TRJA shares at a price of Rp 275 per share. This purchase was valued at Rp 2.99 billion. On November 15, 2023, PT Damai Investama Sukses made another purchase of 18.7 million TRJA shares at Rp 275 per share, spending Rp 5.14 billion.
Subsequently, on November 15, 2023, PT Damai Investama Sukses bought 48.5 million shares at Rp 275 per share, with a purchase value of Rp 13.37 billion.
The purchases continued on November 17, 2023, where PT Damai Investama Sukses bought 34.8 million TRJA shares at a price of Rp 275 per share, with a purchase value of Rp 9.57 billion.
Lastly, on November 23, 2023, PT Damai Investama Sukses acquired 75.18 million TRJA shares at Rp 275 per share, with a total purchase value of Rp 20.67 billion.
Thus, when calculated, PT Damai Investama Sukses spent at least Rp 55.72 billion to acquire 213.48 million TRJA shares. As a result, Damai Investama Sukses’ ownership in TRJA has increased to 51.93%, up from the previous 37.8%.
These purchases are intended for investment with direct ownership status.
As a reminder, MYOH will acquire TRJA shares to expand its business in the coal mining contractor sector. On November 14, 2023, MYOH entered into a conditional shares purchase agreement to take over approximately 1.23 billion TRJA shares.
After this acquisition, MYOH will become the new controller of TRJA.
