JAKARTA, investor.id – PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA), a company engaged in commercial vehicle leasing, recorded contracts worth IDR 1 trillion last year. This is the result of various innovations and transformations carried out by the company.

Throughout 2022, Transkon purchased more than 700 new vehicles, bringing the total operational fleet to 3,156 units across all operational points. The company successfully added several new points in Kalimantan and the eastern regions of Indonesia. One of them is in the province of Gorontalo.

Transkon’s Corporate Secretary, Alexander Syauta, explained that the company is optimistic about the addition of new points in Gorontalo Province, considering the significant mining potential in the province, especially for gold and other minerals.

“This business expansion is also carried out by the company by establishing two subsidiaries at the beginning of 2022 engaged in information technology device services called PT Multinet Perkasa Indonesia and a company engaged in outsourcing named PT Borneo Sentana Gemilang,” said Alexander on Monday (27/2/2023).

He added that Transkon continues to improve in implementing a better management system. In 2022, the company obtained three ISO certifications, including ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management, and ISO 37001:2016 for Anti-Bribery Management System.

Thus, to date, Transkon has four ISO certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System obtained by the company in 2021.

“In 2023, the company is still focused on business expansion in terms of expanding the coverage of operational areas and expanding the coverage of industry types and adding the proportion of bus rentals,” he said.

He added that the company will start expanding to the western region of Indonesia and will focus more on reaching the nickel industry. The company has implemented several strategies to maximize expansion into this sector.

“This starts by participating in seminars and trade exhibitions in the nickel industry, up to establishing representative offices in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, which is one of the largest nickel-producing areas in Indonesia,” he concluded.
