KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Transkon Jaya Tbk (TRJA) continues its expansion in Kalimantan, securing a new contract in North Kalimantan Province.
Alexander Syauta, Corporate Secretary of Transkon Jaya, stated that this region is the latest point on the company’s distribution map.
“This project is a collaboration between PT Transkon Jaya Tbk and an existing customer,” he said in a press release on Friday (3/9).
According to him, the new contract is evidence that the company can provide the best quality, consistently earning the trust of customers for procuring operational vehicles in mining areas.
In addition, TRJA has also successfully attracted new clients who continue to add leased vehicles for their operational areas. Currently, the company has received more than 50 vehicles from a Single Brand Holder Agent (ATPM).
“The company still maintains a queue of hundreds of vehicle orders, which are currently being prepared by the ATPM,” added Alex.
He further mentioned that in this new project, PT Transkon Jaya Tbk still finds good opportunities in the mining sector. Currently, commodity prices continue to soar in each period due to high demand from several countries.
“TRJA also explores potential beyond the mining industry. Already realized in several new contracts in the second semester, TRJA continues to provide vehicles for infrastructure and other mineral mining industries such as nickel and gold,” he explained.
He said that the program to increase the proportion of industries other than coal is PT Transkon Jaya Tbk’s goal to support the world’s program to reduce carbon emissions.
